Message From PTA
Kia ora Parents and Caregivers,
We hope this message finds you well at the start of Term 3. As your Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), we are incredibly proud of our community spirit here at Balmoral and the events we've helped bring to life in the past - from school discos and movie screenings to teacher appreciation morning teas and family fun nights. However, we need to be honest with you; our small but mighty team is stretched to the limit. The PTA is currently running on very limited volunteer support, and we are rapidly approaching a point where future events may not be possible without additional hands on deck.
This is not said lightly as we understand everyone is busy, and we truly appreciate those who have contributed time and energy this year. But as the saying goes, many hands make light work, and we are reaching out now because we believe in our school community and in the power of parents coming together to create special experiences for our tamariki. If you've ever thought about helping, even in a small way, now is the time. Whether it's a one-off task, joining an event planning team, or simply showing up on the day to lend a hand, every bit counts.
We’ll be holding our next meeting on 22nd July to discuss upcoming events and what can go ahead. Please come along if you can, we’d love to see some new faces and fresh energy.
